Of every ride you make with MoviSur, 95% goes to the driver. The platform keeps 5%. It is the same decision seen from both sides: for the driver it means what they earn stays almost entirely theirs; for the passenger it means the price is set before getting in, with no commission appearing later.
What 95% means in practice
If a ride bills $100, the driver keeps $95. There are no additional "service" deductions, and no invented tiers that change the sum.
On top of that, sign-up is free and there is no monthly fee. Drivers approved before launch keep 100% of their earnings during the first month.
The comparison with international platforms
International apps tend to keep a considerably higher share. The range we use as a reference is between 25% and 30%, meaning the driver keeps between 70% and 75%.
We want to be precise about this: that range is not an official figure. Each platform's commission varies by city and by period, and is not always published. What we use as a reference is what industry media report. If you have the exact figure for your city, write to us at hola@movisur.com.ar and we will correct it.
Why this matters here
In Santa Cruz distances are long and driving has real costs: fuel, maintenance, insurance, taxes. When an outside platform takes a share of every ride, that money leaves the region and does not come back.
MoviSur is not a franchise or an adaptation. The company is based in the province, and so is its support team. You can read more about that on our about page.
What 95% does not promise
A low commission does not guarantee a high volume of rides. MoviSur does not guarantee ride volume or earnings, and any income estimate you see on the site is illustrative: it does not account for fuel, maintenance, insurance or taxes.
Frequently asked questions
How much does MoviSur keep from each ride?
5%.
Is there a sign-up fee or monthly fee?
No. You do not pay a sign-up fee, a platform licence fee, or a monthly fee.
Does the passenger pay more because of this?
No. The price is set before getting in and is what you see on screen.
Where does the 70–75% for other apps come from?
From what industry media publish. It is not an official figure and it varies by city and by period.
