Which cities will MoviSur operate in?
Launch starts in Caleta Olivia, Cañadón Seco, Pico Truncado, Koluel Kaike and Río Gallegos. We will keep adding new towns after that.
How do I request a ride?
Open the app, enter where you are going, check the price and confirm the ride. Once a driver accepts, you will be able to see their details and track their arrival on the map.
How much does a ride cost?
The price depends on the distance, the city and service conditions. What matters is that you see the price before confirming the ride.
Can the price change after I confirm?
No. Once you confirm the ride, the price shown stays fixed.
How can I pay?
You can pay in cash or with Mercado Pago, depending on the option you choose when requesting the ride.
Can I request a ride for someone else?
Yes. You can request the ride for a family member, friend or acquaintance and follow the route from your phone.
Can I see who is picking me up?
Yes. Before getting in, you will see the driver’s name, photo, vehicle and license plate in the app.
Are drivers verified?
Yes. We verify identity, background, driver’s licence, vehicle documents and the corresponding insurance before enabling an account to receive rides.
Can I track the ride from the app?
Yes. You will be able to see the driver’s arrival and follow the route from your phone.
What if there are no drivers available?
Availability depends on the drivers connected in your area at that moment. If none are available, you can try again in a few minutes.
Can I use MoviSur if it has not reached my city yet?
Yes, you can download the app and create your account. You can also tell us your city to help us measure where interest is highest.
Does MoviSur replace remises or taxis?
Not necessarily. MoviSur is another option for requesting rides from your phone and connecting passengers with available drivers.
