Riding with MoviSur
When will I be able to request my first ride?
On 1 November 2026. Until then the app can be downloaded and you can create your account, but there are no rides yet. Each city goes live once it has enough drivers.
What does a ride cost?
The fare is calculated by distance and fixed before you confirm. It does not change with traffic, time of day or demand.
How can I pay?
Cash, card or digital wallet. You choose when requesting the ride.
Which cities does it cover?
Five go live on 1 November: Caleta Olivia, Cañadón Seco, Pico Truncado, Koluel Kaike and Río Gallegos. Las Heras and Puerto Deseado are next. The cities page lists them all with their status.
Can I request a ride from one city to another?
Yes. Intercity rides are quoted like urban ones and the price is also fixed before you confirm.
Driving with MoviSur
How much of each fare do I keep?
95%. No tiers or bonuses change that number, and we charge nothing to sign up. On top of that, the first month carries no commission.
Which licence do I need?
When you register we ask which class of licence you hold. Depending on your city, a licence authorised to carry passengers may be required; if you lack it, we tell you where to get it.
Does signing up cost anything?
No. Registration is free and with no commitment. You upload your documents in the app, we validate them and you can start driving.
Which documents do I need?
A valid licence, vehicle registration, current insurance and roadworthiness certificate. You upload them from the app by taking a photo.
Can I drive only some days?
Yes. There is no minimum schedule and no obligation to go online. You drive whenever you want.
How does the referral programme work?
If you bring five drivers and they get approved, you get a commission-free month: that month you keep 100% of what you make. There is no cap: every five referrals is another month.
The app and the launch
Can I download it already?
Yes, it is on Google Play and the App Store. There are two apps: one to request rides and one to drive. Downloading now leaves your account ready for day one.
I downloaded the app and cannot request rides
That is expected: the network is not live yet. You will be able to request rides from 1 November 2026.
How do I find out when it starts in my city?
Turn on the alert in the app or join the WhatsApp group. We write once, the day your city goes live.
