Koluel Kaike
A hundred and fifty people, eighteen kilometres from everything
The name comes from Aonikenk and means «menuco»: those waterholes that in Patagonia are also called mallines. The town was formally established by national decree in 1921 and around 150 people live here today, 18 kilometres from Pico Truncado on Provincial Route 43. At that size there is no urban demand: a ride here is almost always a ride out, and depending on someone happening to head the same way is exactly the problem MoviSur exists to solve.
