Las Heras is not yet among the cities where MoviSur operates. It is on the list of what is next, together with Puerto Deseado. We would rather say that plainly than announce a date we do not have.
What is missing
A city switches on once it has enough drivers for requesting a ride to be worth it. There is no point opening somewhere you would wait forty minutes for someone to turn up: that ruins the service before it even starts.
Las Heras is at the stage of signing up drivers. Once it reaches the number that lets the service run on its own, it opens.
Las Heras is the end of the northern corridor
The corridor starts in Caleta Olivia, continues through Cañadón Seco, Pico Truncado and Koluel Kaike, and ends here. Those four open on 1 November 2026, so Las Heras is one step away from a network that will already be running.
How this gets sooner
Two things bring it closer, and both come from people here:
- Drivers signing up. This matters most. Sign-up is free, done from the app, and takes under ten minutes.
- People downloading the app. Even though it does not work in Las Heras yet, that is how we see where real demand is.

Can I sign up to drive even though the city has not opened?
Yes, and that is exactly what makes it open sooner. You upload your documents and they stay verified, waiting.
What happens if I request a ride here?
The app will let you know the service is not there yet, and you can leave your details so we can notify you.
Can I travel from Caleta Olivia to Las Heras?
Not yet. Rides work between active cities, and Las Heras is not one yet.
